The Bouleuterion is located at the southern end of the temple hill, but outside the Stoa, which borders the temple district. It was probably built at the end of the 1st century AD. Research has shown that it was used until the Byzantine period. It is believed to have functioned as a bouleuterion during the first construction phase and later as an odeion. The marble seating steps of the cavea were removed in post-Byzantine times and used to produce lime.
