The subdivision into kerkides (wedge-shaped fields) visible in the two remaining rows of seats indicates an odeon. A small theatre or the use of the building as a bouleuterion is controversial. The University of Nebraska, which has been carrying out excavations in Antiochia ad Cragum since 2011, is investigating the surroundings of the building in the 2019 excavation session, especially between the bath and the Odeon.
