The great Roman thermal baths were part of a whole complex identified as a gymnasion. Already the Austro-Hungarian explorer Karl Graf Lanckoroński identified the 91 m long, but only 14 m wide complex in 1892 in his book "Städte Pamphyliens und Pisidiens" (Volume 2) as a "Gymnasium". A 50 m long inner courtyard is flanked by bathrooms and training rooms. |
